Cities around the country are painting murals on the streets heralding the slogan “Black Lives Matter” (BLM). But pro-lifers are pushing back with murals of their own.

The Democratic mayor of Washington, D.C. put the 35-foot-tall political statement on a street near the White House to spite President Trump.

Mayor Bill de Blasio of New York made a similar move, enshrining the slogan on the road in front of Trump Tower in Manhattan.

But pro-lifers in Washington, D.C. made their own mural — painting “Baby Lives Matter” in front of an abortion mill.

A similar mural was put outside an abortion mill in Utah, but was removed the same day.

The pro-life advocates behind these murals are accepting donations to support their work.

The pro-life murals echo a common criticism from conservatives — like Candace Owens — who say the Black Lives Matter movement doesn’t care about black lives in the womb.

Owens: “Because if black lives mattered to Black Lives Matter, we would be talking about abortion — which has murdered 17 million black babies since its inception.”

Abortion disproportionately affects the black community, as African-Americans represent 13% of the U.S. population but 36% of abortions.

As countless cities in the United States plaster BLM murals on the streets, pro-lifers are pushing back with similar murals that highlight the scourge of abortion.
